Business is Communication; it is building good relationships with customers and partners. In Relationship Marketing, we help each other grow our own businesses. It works best when we work for the same company, but complimentary companies and occupations can work together nicely also. The key is to always have open and honest communication.
Mentor and Sponsor
You are reading this because someone invited you to look at a business opportunity. To succeed, first, you need to develop a good relationship with your sponsor (especially if it is me). On top of that it is good to have at least one mentor who has been successful in relationship marketing. I am personally subscribing to GoPro from Eric Worre and a personal mentor. Relationship Marketing is built on Network Marketing. And the Network Marketing growth is 8% annually, with the wellness sector being 34%. Having a Sponsor is essential. Hopefully, you have a good relationship with the person who shared this article. Work with your Sponsor to find a good Mentor.
What it Takes to be Successful
There are a few keys to being successful quickly n Relationship Marketing. The key ones are:
- Believe that you can be successful and truly want to be successful. Each of us has infinite potential. Work with your sponsor and mentor to fully utilize that potential.
- Have good working relationship with your sponsor, with a goal to be as quickly independent as possible.
- Know the company and do some research. Is it reputable and use Good Manufacturing Processes. If it is consumable, does it have an athlete guarantee for purity.
- Be a product of the product, use the products you are presenting.
- Are you in a growth industry (see Network Marketing growth)
- Do you have a strong “Why” for why you want to do this
- Do you have a willingness to learn, and a hunger to succeed?
- Get training, work with your sponsor to find a mentor.
Learn Something New
Often when we learn something new, it is too easily forgotten. The key to learning something is to keep working until you cannot forget it. According to Eric Worre, three qualities you need to succeed are:
- Be willing to learn
- Be coachable
- Be Hungry to learn something new and useful and apply
Phases of Growth
Everything is not done instantly. It takes urgency mixed with patience. According to Eric Worre, there are four stages of growth:
- Starting an organization takes time and grit to start your own business. It takes work. Again, use the tools that you have available. Work with your sponsor and listen to your mentor. At this stage everything is urgent to build your organization. But be patient. Choose wisely on who you want to bring into your organization. That is the beauty of Relationship Marketing. Working with friends to help everyone succeed is the key. Strive for doing your best and use your time wisely.
- Duplication phase. You are already attracting people to your organization. The goal is to help each new member of your team to become independent and duplicate your efforts. Be involved.
- Promote phase. You are promoting your business, your team’s businesses, and the company. Working with company management is rewarding. As you promote, help all of your team to become promoters also.
- Develop Independent Leadership. This should be done throughout your progress, but here is where the time freedom really occurs.
Use of Artificial Intelligence
There is a lot of discussion, and advertisements, about using AI in Network Marketing. ZOOM has a good article on How AI is Changing the Game for Small and Midsized Business. Use your best judgment on the validity of those claims. AI can be great if you use it to maximize your effort. But if you use it to minimize your effort, minimized effort very rarely succeeds.
I am currently learning how to use Artificial Intelligence to help with what I am doing. I described the scene I wasted for the cafe scene at the start of the article and had Ace AI generate the picture. Ace AI is free for now, so I am using it. I have also used Claude and ChatGPT to generate code and Midjourney to generate pictures. How realistic do you think the picture at the start of this article is?
